INFORMATION ON “STICHTING STAN” (THE STAN
FOUNDATION)
According to article 2 of the memorandum of
association, dating 23 February 2006, the aim and
purpose of Stichting Stan consist of the following:
• The raising of funds as a means to provide,
firstly, Stan de Grauw, born 19 December 2004, with
treatment with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and, if
possible, to also provide others afflicted with
brain damage with HyperBaric Oxygen Therapy;
• To inform parents of children afflicted with brain
damage and other parties involved, about Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy;
• To look after the interests of persons afflicted
with brain damage; and any other actions directly or
indirectly connected to, or beneficial to, this
cause, in the broadest sense of the word.
Because health care companies do not fund this type
of therapy it has proven to be necessary to start
this foundation.
